Briana Walden is a LA Based Photographer and Filmmaker specializing in Intimacy and Humanitarian concept capture. Her series, “Vulnerability”, was exhibited as part of The Getty 25, highlighting the intersectionality between art and mental health.
Her directorial debut, “Invisible Symphony - CicLAvia : Heart of Los Angeles”, was awarded Finalist in the 2025 PBS Fine Cut Festival and was a recipient of the STARZ #TaketheLead finishing grant. Her most recent project, “Into the Book”, premiered at Oscar Qualifying LA Shorts in 2026.
She is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, where she studied Documentary
Television Production and was awarded the Sally Cassanova Pre-Doctoral Scholarship. A trained Mindfulness Facilitator, she intends to pursue a doctorate in researching the impact mindfulness practice has on the filmmaking process.
